Professional Experience
Collaborator in the television station "Porto Canal", ensuring the authorship and presentation of a weekly programme on History and Heritage, which won in 2016 the Best Media Work Award from the Portuguese Museology Association, since 2006.
Appointed Municipal Councillor for Culture by the Oporto City Council, in 2017.
Head of Cultural Promotion and Museums Division of Matosinhos City Hall, from 2004 to 2009 - belongs to the staff of this City Hall from 1987 to 2014 where, besides being an archaeologist, linked to the creation of the Municipal Historical Archive, he was in the direction of the Quinta de Santiago Museum, coordination of the Municipal Office of Archaeology and History and the Museums Network of Matosinhos.
Teacher of Secondary, Professional and Higher Education since 1993.
Teacher trainer since 1997.
Senior University Trainer, since 2007.
Consultant in the areas of History, Heritage, Museology and Archaeology in several architecture and urbanism projects, including, more recently, the Oporto Football Club Museum (2013), the conversion plan of Praça da República in Oporto (2017), and the musealization of the underground of Rio de Vila under Mouzino da Silveira street in Oporto (2016).
