Main literature

Cardoso, J;Estudos do património, Universidade aberta, 2005

Learning Methods

The transmission of knowledge will be motivated, in the classroom, with the systematic use of maps, chronologies and images. The classes will also have a significant component "in situ", taking place within monuments alluding to the type of heritage approached. This will facilitate the promotion of discussion and critical analysis and a greater intervention and reflection on the contents studied.
The participation of the students in the classroom activities is reinforced by the elaboration of small practical works to be presented to the group on previously defined study themes and accompanied by the teacher. In this way, the aim is to stimulate the exchange of experiences and the resolution of common difficulties.
