Aims, Skills and Learning Outcomes

The course of Internship I is designed to complement the academic training undertaken during the degree throughout the integration of students in the exercise of a professional occupation or in thedevelopment of activities in companies or companies or organization that will provide  real contacts with the word market.

Professional Report I

In situations where the student pursues a professional activity, his work experience can be considered as Internship I, provided  that there is a proven exercise of compatible features with relevant academic training for the objectives of Internship I and capable of ensuring the integration of the student in the active life.


We aim provide the students with tecnical and practical knowledge to prepare a report based on their practice and professional knowledge, enabling them to identify the technical and operational problem solving methods and establishing compatible objectives with the organization's strategy.




Programme

Internship I

The Internship I is eminently practical on a corporate or institutional environment, the intern will develop a professional activity defined by the functional content inherent to the job opportunities of the degree under the authority of a Supervisor - hierarchical superior framed at the professional level, and accompanied by na ISAG teacher that promote the respective evaluation with the Company / Institution Advisor. Finished Internship, the student / trainee will prepare a document summarizing the developed work, that would be publicly presented and defended.
Internship Period I: May 28 to July 6, 2017.


Professional Report I

Each student should develop a report under the guidance of a Faculty Advisor nominated by ISAG. To this end should be used tutorials sessions where it will be presented and discussed the work performed and the evolution of the final report.
The Professional I report will be publicly presented and defended by the student.

Internship I

In context of insertion in organization, the student will develop the work-related to his internship under the guidance of an organization's Internal Advisor, in line with the Faculty Advisor ISAG that will evaluate and certify the quality of work produced through a Company Assessment Form which constitute 50% of the final grade. The Training Report, which shall descrives closely detail the work performed and the situations experienced during the internship, will constitute other 50% of the final grade.

On Internship report I is required a minimum score of 10 points.

Professional Report I

While writting of a Professional Report I, the student must prove by a strong evidences his professional experience and the relevance of the professional path. The evaluation will be a result of the weighted average of the marks obtained in the report (60%) and the presentation / defense (40%).

Internship Report I / Professional Report I

The report should not exceed 30 pages, excluding the cover, contents, appendices and attachments.
Deadline for the Internship Report I / Professional Report I: July 11, 2018

Presentation / defense
Presentations / defenses of the Professional Report I, if applicable, will be made before a jury composed by the Faculty Advisor and other teachers nominated for that purpose. The jury will perform a previous assessment of the work to be presented. The schedule of the presentations will be posted in an appropriate place and the students will be notified by the Faculty Advisor.

The marks obtained in the intern's work, report the presentation and defense, if applicable, may be considered only until the 2nd phase, with no possibility of improvement.
