Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is composed of a President and two members appointed by the Institutional Entity, one of whom is a teacher of the Institute.

1. The Chairman of the Directors Board shall, in particular, be empowered to:

a) To represent ISAG before official bodies, other institutes and cultural and scientific research institutions;
b) To ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
c) To submit to the supervising ministry all matters requiring resolution by the supervising ministry;
d) To collaborate in the definition of the general guidelines for higher education, when requested to do so;

2. The President shall be assisted by the members who shall replace him in his absences and impediments, and to whom he may delegate part of his powers.

a) ensure the continuation of the ISAG policy defined by the Institution;
b) comply with the guidelines issued by the Instituting Entity concerning the administrative and financial management of ISAG;
c) Chair the Disciplinary Board, through its Chair or a representative;
d) To send to the Institutional Entity the proposals for hiring, dismissing and replacing teachers presented by the Pedagogic Council, and after the opinion of the Technical and Scientific Council;
e) Issue an opinion, when requested by the Institution, on the hiring of non-teaching staff;
f) prepare the Annual Plan of Activities after obtaining the contributions and opinions of the Pedagogic Council and the Scientific-Technical Council;
g) Collaborate with other bodies in the preparation of studies and other reports, when requested by the supervising authority and/or other entities;
h) Prepare and approve the administrative-financial component of the regulations of the study cycles;
i) Exercise all competencies that are within the scope of the ISAG's mission and not assigned to other bodies;
j) through its President, and together with the President of the Scientific Technical Council, sign the diplomas awarded by the ISAG;
k) to deliberate on other matters submitted to it by other management bodies.
