Description:
Social Action is responsible for:
a) Providing guidance to students who are in a situation of socio-economic vulnerability, namely by providing information on the Scholarship application process;
b) Collecting, organizing and making available to DGES the academic data of students applying for scholarships;
c) Promoting equality and diversity: implementing policies to promote equal opportunities among the student community;
d) Supporting Students with Special Needs (SEN), in terms of providing information about scholarships that can be awarded by DGES (students with at least 60% disability). Collecting, organizing and making available information required by DGES about students with SEN.

SCHOLARSHIPS

1- Scholarships from the DGES Social Action Fund
Scholarships are awarded as part of the social support system for attending courses at higher education institutions;
This regulation applies to students enrolled in higher vocational technical courses and study cycles leading to bachelor's or master's degrees and who meet the criteria defined in the Regulation for Awarding Scholarships to Higher Education Students (Order No. 9138/2020, of September 25);
As soon as the student registers, they must go to the ISAG Social Action Office to be given the credentials to apply for the Social Action Fund Scholarship;
Scholarship applications are made online at www.dges.gov.pt/wwwBeOn/;
The conditions for awarding a scholarship are defined in the legislation currently in force, namely in the Regulations for Awarding Scholarships to Higher Education Students, available at www.dges.gov.pt.

2. DGES Merit Scholarships:
Merit scholarships are awarded to students with exceptional achievement, regardless of their income, in accordance with the Regulation for Awarding Merit Scholarships to Students of Higher Education Institutions (Order no. 13531/2009, of June 9).

3. Consuelo Vieira da Costa Merit Scholarship
For all students entering through the general admission system (1st year, 1st time) with an average score of 160 or above, ISAG offers a 50% reduction in the basic tuition fee for Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
In subsequent years, the student will have to maintain or surpass the average in order to continue to benefit from the Consuelo Vieira da Costa Merit Scholarship.
The Consuelo Vieira da Costa Merit Scholarship cannot be combined with other commercial or financial campaigns in force.

4. Excellence/Recognition Scholarship
Scholarship awarded to all students entering through the general admissions system (1st year, 1st time) with an access average of 185 or higher, ISAG offers a 100% reduction in the base tuition fee for Bachelor's degrees.
Scholarship awarded to all students entering through the general admission system (1st year, 1st time) with an average score of 180 or higher, ISAG offers a 100% reduction in the base tuition fee for Master's degrees.
The Excellence/Recognition Scholarship cannot be combined with other commercial or financial campaigns in force.

5. Consuelo Vieira da Costa Foundation Scholarship - CTeSP
The scholarship is awarded to the 3 best students from each protocol school who wish to apply for TeSP courses at ISAG;
Conditions: 50% reduction in tuition fees in the 1st year and in subsequent years if the student passes the 60 ECTS that make up the curricular year.

6. Porto do Conhecimento Scholarship
Those interested can apply for the Porto de Conhecimento scholarships if, cumulatively:
Hold a secondary education course or equivalent qualification, or have passed the specially appropriate tests designed to assess the ability of those over 23 to attend higher education;
Are beneficiaries of support under the school social action scheme or have a similar economic and financial situation;
Reside in the city of Porto or have obtained their higher education qualification at an educational institution in Porto;
Applicants for the Porto de Conhecimento scholarship may not be enrolled in a degree course or higher.
Applicants for the Porto de Conhecimento scholarships must send their application form (template available at www.porto.pt) to educacao@cm-porto.pt by August 11th.

7. Scholarships for students with disabilities
The Government, through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, in order to promote access to higher education and knowledge for citizens with special needs, has approved the regulations for the award of scholarships for students with a disability of 60% or more to attend higher education.
Students who:
Are enrolled and registered at a higher education institution;
Prove the degree of disability through a medical certificate of multipurpose disability;
Have their tax and social security situation in order.
